Built by us – chalets in the Dolomites with character

From craft to passion

Walter is a qualified carpenter – and that’s reflected in every chalet. What others might outsource, we often produce ourselves, accompanying each step from the first idea to the finished design.

Natural materials have always been close to our hearts – wood, stone, leather and loden: genuine, timeless and full of character. This is how each chalet gains its own identity and becomes something truly special.

Gifts from nature

Our resort is built on rock. And that means: before any construction begins, there's plenty of hammering to be done.

During this process, unique stones emerge – boulders formed over many years. We give them a new life in our chalets, where they become part of the interiors, returning to the very place they once belonged.

This is how, for example, our washbasins are made – each one unique, directly from our property.

Wood from our own forest

Our wood tells its own story too. Many details – handles, uprights and smaller elements – are sourced from our own forests.

It’s these small details You may not notice at first, but You can feel, because they are real, because they belong here.

Before a chalet is built, a lot of thought goes into it.

Planning with an eye for the essentials

Where's the best place to sit and gaze at the mountains? How does the light fall?

Where can You find true peace and quiet?

We plan everything ourselves – from the floor plan to the last plant. Shrubs are planted to create privacy. Trees are positioned to provide shade while still offering panoramic views.

Ultimately, we want to create a feeling: a bit like being in an alpine pasture. Free, peaceful, and authentic.

A piece of Kirchwies in every detail

Our interiors are also created largely in-house – with skilled craftsmanship, time and attention to detail. Wood and stone, combined with leather and loden – materials that feel warm and stand the test of time.

This is how each chalet becomes a place that isn’t simply built, rather each one grows.
